HSE Policy

ShipCargo want to maintain a safe, incident free workplace, with no injury or other harm to our own personnel or other people and the minimum possible damage to the environment.

ShipCargo is committed to ensure provision of safe and healthy work conditions ensuring that all activities are conducted with minimal environmental impact. The aims of this policy shall be achieved at our company locations by adhering to the following principles:
Compliance with applicable HSE legislation
Maintain a low level of absence due to work-related illness
Avoid working accidents, injuries, and environmental damage
Minimize health hazardous factors
Intolerance of the conditions and behaviours that contribute to incidents and injuries
Encourage employees to contribute to the process of improving the system and evaluate the working situation
Continual aiming at reducing workplace injuries and environmental damage by using the non-conformance procedure from the Quality Management System.

All managers and employees shall actively uphold the principles of this policy and integrate them in any operations, while the management of ShipCargo shall regularly review HSE performance in accordance with the procedure for management review in the Quality Management System.

Contractors and Subcontractors shall work in accordance with this policy and comply with applicable HSE legislation.

Working safely and in an environmentally appropriate manner are conditions of employment. Each employee has a duty to report workplace conditions or practices that pose a safety hazard or threaten the environment and to take reasonable actions to minimize such risks.
